What is LispPRO?

LispPRO is an award winning Windows application that creates a protected installation setup program for AutoLisp applications. With just a few clicks your AutoLisp code will be protected from unauthorized viewing, copying, editing or executing and it will be ready for internet downloading.

While creating a setup program you can:

  • Select one of the following protection methods:

    • Require different registration codes for every computer installation.

    • Require different registration codes for every user.

    • Require the same registration code for all users.

    • Allow all users to run the program.

    All protection methods will protect your AutoLisp code from unauthorized viewing, copying, or editing.

  • Select a demo mode AutoLisp file. This file will be loaded into AutoCAD if the user did not enter a valid registration code. (Optional).

  • Select a bitmap file with a company's logo, which will be displayed for a short time, while AutoCAD is loading an AutoLisp program. (Optional).

  • Select additional files to be included into the setup file and extracted during the installation. (Optional).

After the user installs an AutoLisp application, and loads it into AutoCAD, a unique AutoLisp variable, containing the path (drive and directory) information where the AutoLisp application is installed, will become available to your application.

While loading an AutoLisp application that was installed with an installation file created by LispPRO, the user will be prompted to do one of the following: enter a registration code, print a registration code request form, or continue in demo mode. After the registration code is entered the prompt will not be displayed again.

LispPRO comes with a code generation program. This program will enable the developer to compute valid registration codes for each user. Note that only the original developer of the AutoLisp application will be able to generate valid registration codes.

An installation file that is created by LispPRO is *guaranteed by www.ai-d.com to work for all existing and future versions of AutoCAD for Windows.

Download a setup file and install it on your PC computer. The installed LispPRO program will function in demo mode until a proper Registration Code is entered. To obtain a Registration Code, enter LispPRO and fill out the Registration Code Request Form. For details see Products Support page.

While in demo mode, LispPRO will be partially functional. When loaded into AutoCAD, AutoLisp routines protected with demo mode LispPRO will display the message "Please register your version of LispPRO".

  • Programs written in AutoLisp do not have to be rewritten, or recompiled for new versions of AutoCAD.
